About the Artist
Layne Larsen is a self-taught artist who works in a variety of media, including acrylic, watercolour, egg tempera and graphite. His subjects include aviation, wildlife (particularly birds), architecture, military subjects and the human figure. His paintings hang in public and private collections in more than 30 countries around the world and in several Canadian aviation museums. He is listed in Canada’s “Who’s Who” and operates a full-service framing business.
