About the Artist
Chris Perry is a full-time, self-taught artist. At a very early age she displayed artistic ability however she did not begin intensive drawing until the age of 41.
In 2015 Chris was juried and invited to join as a contributing artist for Wildlife Heritage Canada’s annual stamp program. “To be included among well-known Canadian wildlife artists like Michael Dumas and Robert Bateman is a great honour.”
As an accomplished photographer her pics provides her with the resources to paint the creatures that she loves so much. A longstanding member of the Ontario and Kingston Field Naturalists she strongly believes that her goal as a wildlife artist is to enhance her understanding of the natural world through observation and study. Chris then tries to share her experiences through the brushstrokes of her finished artwork.
